The Loughshore Hotel (formerly known as the Clarion Hotel, Carrickfergus) has long been famous for hosting fantastic Formal Events in our sumptuous Causeway Suite and now introducing the spectacular Loughview Suite. The Causeway and Loughview Suites can cater for up to 300 guests, both are beautifully decorated and boast a large bar inside the room with a private cloakroom area.
The adjacent Glendun Suite and trendy Lough Bar are ideal for Drinks Receptions on arrival, with excellent bar facilities. The Events Team at the Loughshore are experienced in assisting with the organisation of all types of Formal Occasions and you can be assured of the best attention and advice at all times during the planning process.
Formal Packages for Charities and Fundraisers are tailored to meet your every need, to ensure you and your guests enjoy the Loughshore experience. This makes the potential of raising funds much more realistic!
School Formals are accommodated in either of our main ballrooms, which again benefits from their own bar facilities, private cloakrooms the Loughview Suite has a separate entrance from the rest of the Hotel. Our ballrooms both have a fixed stage area with a large dance floor, ideal for partying the night away in style! Room dressing can be arranged to suit your colour scheme or theme, and a DJ or live band can be organised to play as well.
